Description:
The idea came from the Stop Asian Hate parade.
The final work was made by the photo, which was taken from the parade of Stop Asian Hate and just ordinary Asian people. I used Processing to create the sketch and then inputted it to Touchdesigner to have interaction with the mouse. However, because of the non-commercial plan, I could not have access to create high definition project :(
but still, Stop Asian Hate!
Background:
Stop Asian Hate is the name of several anti-Asian-violence rallies which have been held across the United States in 2021 in response to racism against Asian Americans related to the COVID-19 pandemic, or in short is a response to the hatred. The slogan Stop Asian Hate is being used all around the world to show solidarity as the Asian community. Many rallies occurred in the wake of a mass shooting that occurred at three Atlanta spas in which eight people were killed, six of whom were Asian women. However, the movement first began to gain traction after the killing of Vicha Ratanapakdee nearly two months earlier.
